Challenge

Blackpool Coastal Housing needed a solution for longevity of their coastal properties as the mortar was not surviving the harsh conditions and the tiles needed to be strong and durable.

Solution

Acme Single Camber Clay Tiles provided the main covering for the roof with the hard wearing etruria marl giving durability to the roof. Dry fix solutions were used to ensure effective mechanical fixing of the roof where traditional mortar was suffering.

Result

The refurbished roofs are more durable than their predecessors.
